You can find out more about Georges Cazorla here (https://areaps.org/georges-cazorla/) and if you get a chance to scroll through google scholar, he has some really interesting research published in his field.
Sorry for the somewhat obscure British comedy reference…
But it is good to celebrate things that make you laugh in between the sigh worthy events of life. So, with that here is a quick follow up to my last post. I recently became aware of this article written in French magazine "Le Point" after its misleading header (see link at end) was screen shot and shared over social media. Published internationally on the 14th of August 2024, one of Imane Khelif's coaches (Georges Cazorla) discusses the boxer's journey to the Olympics, the disqualification she faced in 2023 from the Women's World Boxing Championships (IBA), what they discovered from the tests she was made to have, and why the IOC allowed Imane to still complete. I will attach some important parts of this interview below for your perusal, but ultimately what it boils down to is:
- Genomics is a fascinating subject, and...
- That Imane Khelif (after much speculation) is indeed a woman.
Final thoughts: We as a collective definitely need to do better in regard to life's Golden Rule (AKA Kant's Categorical Imperative), which in its simplest form is to act as you would want all other people to act towards you, something the world seems to be lacking in right now.

An old library book that I purchased, which I would recommend about the life and contributions to psychology by Kenneth B Clark (PsyD), if you were interested in learning more about him. I mentioned him in my previous post, as well as the Brown vs Board of Education "Doll Test" that helped end racial segregation throughout American public schools in 1954.
